Old Navy Credit Card vs. Encore: Which Benefits Need the Card?

Do not confuse membership and card status
Core membership is free. The official Encore comparison distinguishes it from Premier, which is based on annual spend, and All-Access, which is for Cardmembers. A member-only benefit does not automatically require opening a credit card.
Check the card-dependent shipping benefit
The official comparison shows Core free basic shipping at $50 or more, Premier free standard shipping at $50 or more, and eligible All-Access Cardmembers free standard shipping at $35 or more with the required card. Sign in and check the post-discount, pre-tax qualifying total before payment.
